That looks like suspension failure. Why the hell does that look like suspension failure?

That's terrible.

That car looked way too loose for just being a driver giving bad inputs. Did he have some kind of failure? I have watched several times trying to spot what exactly was wrong, but I can't spot it.

I'd guess the same thing. Or damage from that first corner where the turn-in was too aggressive? On the first correction it was pretty clear that the car was too loose (perhaps suddenly so?). Also, as the car passes by there is a pretty awful metal on metal squeal. Now I might be just a simple country Hyperchicken lawyer, but I do believe that would be a good indicator of component failure. Namely wheel bearings, tie rods, ball joints, hub nut, etc; basically the stuff that keeps the wheel on the the chassis. That would cause the car to both be loose and sound like terrible.

Also, the driver has sponsors. They can't be that bad.

From youtube... C'est à priori un problème mécanique qui explique le passage de sanglier que nous a offert Jourdan Serderidis et Morgane Bel Rose avec leur Ford Fiesta R5.

I don't speak that much french.. but theres something about a mechanical problem, and the passing of a wild boar? I have no idea..

Good point. I just saw it on facebook so I didn't really read the description. That would explain why someone in that car is driving like that.

That squeal from the brakes may not be a problem.

Sponsors don't mean much in rally. I would say about 75% of the sponsors on rally cars are there because the driver has personal ties to the company (owner, high level employee, family, or close personal friend of the owner). 22% have sponsors but not enough to cover costs, so they're still somewhat out of pocket. 2.98% actually have enough funding to cover the rally expenses. The remaining 0.02% are actually getting paid to drive.
